LME Rally Highlights at Labour Party Conference

Thank you for joining us in Liverpool for our rally at Labour Party Conference!

The EU-UK summit on 19 May set us on a path to a stronger relationship with our closest neighbours and largest trading partner, promising agreements on security, trade and energy. Our rally laid out the important work still to be done in delivering those agreements, and discussed the way forward in the wake of the damage done by the Tories’ disastrous Brexit deal.

From the dangerous rhetoric coming from the right to the importance of defending international law, our speakers discussed the most pressing issues facing the UK's relationship with Europe, highlighting where we need to focus our attention to ensure a continued and enduring bond with Europe.

We also extend thanks to the Party of European Socialists and the Musicians' Union for their generous support.
